Good Company

Community Event

POSTER SERIES

Personal Project | Summer 2023
Good Company is a recurring event that helps an integrated community strengthen the friendship bonds between its younger adults, thereby enhancing the likelihood of a more trusting and cooperative social environment — as these adults mature.

Anticipating the business objectives related to the need for design efficiency among its employees, I challenged myself to research, design, develop, and finalize a strong series of posters that address the event objectives, and compels ample attendance.

Total project completion time: 20 hours.

CREATING AN IDENTITY

METHODS

Within each poster, layered imagery is leveraged to increase dwell time.

Background imagery alludes to potential event activity and sets the tone of the event.

Midground imagery evokes emotion, leaving viewers yearning to attend.

Foreground imagery, combined with the headline and informational copy, catches the eye & builds interest.

ITERATIVE REFINEMENT

For efficiency, one poster composition and imagery system was developed to near completion. That system was then extended, with color and subject variations, to create the series of 3 posters.

See intentional iterative refinement, for the system, below.
